Hannah Heidenreich, Aquatic Director and Chronic Disease Specialist, is a new Personal Trainer addition here to the Greater Marco Family YMCA. Hannah recently graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Health Promotions from Appalachian State University. Hannah grew up on Marco Island and participated in sports throughout her schooling, she ran track, cross country and played soccer for both MICMS and Lely High School.
In college Hannah continued her love of exercise and sports by working out in the gym and learning new techniques from other personal trainers. Hannah has a passion for helping people live healthy lifestyles and therefore took many exercise science, nutrition and public health courses in college to earn her Health Promotion Degree. Hannah not only enjoys her workouts on land but she is growing to love working out in the water just as much. Hannah has taught swim lessons and currently teaches an aquatic class. Hannah enjoys cardio and incorporates a bit in everything she does, from teaching to training. Hannah lives by the quote “It’s never too early or too late to be the healthiest you”, and wants to help others live with the same mentality.
Hannah is working to complete trainings in NETA Group Exercise, NETA Wellness Coaching, ACSM Personal Training, and Aquatic Common Movement Disorder Instructor.
