YMCAs have led health and fitness programs for people of all ages, incomes and abilities for more than a century. We also focus on overall wellness, empowering you to tailor your own plan toward healthier living by choosing how you will accomplish your wellness goals.

7 Day Schedule

Orientation: Schedule your own private fitness orientation with one of our Personal Trainers. Learn to use the fitness room equipment and gain recommendations on a wellness routine.

Aquatics Classes:

Aqua Groove: Keep your cool. Learn a safe, effective and challenging water-based workout that’s for any age or ability. Great workout for those with joint issues.

Aqua Jogging: Perfect for those looking to make a splash by adding a low-impact workout to their routine. Great workout for those with joint issues. (Seasonal)

Aqua Zumba: Perfect for those looking to make a splash by adding a low-impact, high intensity workout to their routine. Great workout for those with joint issues.

Dragonboat Paddling: Paddles up! for a water class focused on team work, upper body and core workout. (Seasonal)

Tai Chi Classes:

Beginning Tai Chi: This class meets three times per week to learn and practice beginning level postures of Yang style long form Tai Chi Chuan. You will learn a series of sequential flowing movements and postures similar to dance. Feel free to “drop-in” anytime.

Intermediate/ Adv. Tai Chi Form: For intermediate/ advanced level postures of Yang style long form Tai Chi Chuan. Students must have basic knowledge of Tai Chi form.

High Intensity Classes:

Boot Camp: A high intensity class with basic choreography that incorporates hi-lo aerobics, step, kickboxing and strength. This class builds endurance and agility.

Cardio/ Strength/ Core: Tone your muscles and burn some fat in these type of classes that will keep you motivated! This class may incorporate weights, balls, body bars and elastic tubing.

Turbo Kick/Kickboxing: Packed with kicks, punches and cardio moves creating one of the best cardiovascular workouts ever! This class will increase your flexibility and coordination and make your muscles look sleek and sculpted.

TRX Suspension Training: Train like an athlete, feel like a star. Full body workout, focused on core training. (Season)

P90X: Classes brought to you to provide the intensity you want. Adapted from the popular and challenging DVD workout. When it’s time for a real challenge!

Step: Risers used for a higher intensity cardio workout.

Beginner to Intermediate Classes:

Back to Basics: Focused on Women’s Health. Learn a new technique to lengthen and open the body so that you become more flexible and healthier at any age. Head to toe total stretching.

DragonBoat Paddling: Paddles up! for a water class focused on team work, upper body and a core workout.

Buff and Beautiful: Incorporating dance moves to a balanced full body workout.

Fit 4 Life: A moderate intensity class utilizing four health and fitness components. QiGong, Cardio, Strength and Yoga combined to provide a comprehensive wellness package for any age group.

Gentle Body Power: GBP is both gentle and powerful; don’t work harder work smarter. Build strength with grace with flexibility and balance. Uses MAT-Muscle Activation Technique and free weights.

Island Walking/Running: Pick up the pace and train with Maddie! Specialty training for those interested in a healthier lifestyle. (Seasonal)

Indoor Group Cycling: A 40 to 55 minute stationary cycle workout for beginner and intermediate riders that simulates a real road ride. It’s a great way to start or end your day.

Spinning: The ultimate indoor cycling experience! Bring a water bottle and a towel to enjoy this challenging class.

Fun Act: Functional Activity is a zero impact, low intensity class where most exercises are done while seated in a chair. Incorporating elastic tubing, hand held weights and a ball, you’ll improve balance, flexibility and overall strength for a healthy, independent lifestyle.

Functional Activity: A low intensity class that incorporates elastic tubes, free weights, and a ball to improve balance, flexibility and overall strength. Recommended for those with heart disease, diabetes, Parkinson’s, arthritis and other inflammatory diseases.

Hatha Yoga with Betty: Basic Yoga postures & gentle stretches done on the floor. Stand postures may be incorporated during cooler weather. Straps and blocks will be used (Beginner/ Intermediate).

Yoga Essentials with Mary: (45-minute class) Beginners and experienced yogis will benefit from SLOW FLOW movement which will concentrate on mindful movement, linking breath with movement, and focusing on posture alignment.

All Fitness Levels Focus on Core, Strength and Flexibility:

Pilates: Learn how to engage your “core” muscles to strengthen, tone and stretch your muscles through matwork.

WholyFit Devotional Exercise: Benefits include stress management, healing spirit, soul, body, strength, flexibility, better sleep, weight loss and stamina. All generations, all fitness levels, all faiths welcome. Exercise, meditation, prayer, worship. Come for the workout, enjoy the encouragement.

Pulse Pointe Barre: This unique workout fuses exercise techniques from the worlds of Pilates, Dance, Cardio-Sculpting moves and Yoga. You’ll firm, tighten and tone your whole body without adding bulk, and you’ll burn mega calories along the way. No dance experience is required.

Sculpt 90 Fusion:  First 45 minutes of strength with resistance equipment and second 45 minutes of Yoga and Pilates for 90 minutes of full body sculpting.

YoPi with Betty: A fusion of basic Yoga and Pilates moves. Suitable for beginner and intermediate levels. Straps and blocks will be used.

Power Yoga: Unleash your inner power, improve your athletic performance and attain a more flexible body and focused mind.

Strength: Cardio warm up concentrating on muscle strength and overall conditioning.

Yoga Flow with Betty: Basic standing and seated postures. Blocks and straps will be used (Beginner/ Intermediate).

Yoga Rhythms: A cardio workout that integrates tribal dance, aerobic dance, yoga and a wide variety of different genres of dance and movement forms.

ZUMBA® Classes:

ZUMBA®/ ZUMBA GOLD: Groove to the beat of Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves in this dynamic, energizing class.

Family ZUMBA®: Children age 10 and up with Mom, Dad, Aunt, everyone! Enjoy our energizing class with family fun.

ZUMBA® Toning: Perfect for those who want to party, but put an extra emphasis on toning and sculpting.

Tennis Classes:

Tennis Conditioning: Do you want to improve your tennis game while sculpting lean muscle and strengthening your core? Workouts include specialized tennis movement training combined with balance, endurance and flexibility. Circuit group exercise training to music that ROCKS!

Specialized Programs:

Rock Steady Boxing: Fighting Parkinson’s and neurological diseases with non-contact boxing-style fitness to improve quality of life and sense of efficacy and self-worth. Proven effective in the improvement and delay of symptoms.

Cross Training Fitness to Fight Diabetes: Three 20 minute intense increments to improve your cardiovascular, strength and overall physical agility. Includes tennis drills, weight training and cycling studio.

Gentle Body Power Tennis for Cancer Survivors and Supporters: Designed specifically for everyone, especially cancer survivors and supporters. You don’t have to play tennis to enjoy this class specifically focused on body/mind movements in Gentle Body Power for Strength, Stability, and Flexibility.

Ballroom Dancing: Couples and singles enjoy this fun and social class while learning the moves for your next ball. Great workout for those with Parkinson’s, arthritis and other chronic diseases.
