Strengthening community is our cause and we believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors.
The Greater Marco Family YMCA is a dedicated association of men, women and children joined together by a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility. Strengthening community is our cause and we believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. We recognize that for communities to succeed everyone must be given the opportunity to be healthy, confident, connected and secure and we, therefore, work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background has the opportunity through our programs and services to be empowered to learn, grow and thrive. Our goal at the Y is to turn no one away due to the inability to pay for much-needed services to enhance children and their family unit. With a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, we nurture the potential of every youth thereby assisting with improving the nation’s health and well-being and by providing opportunities to give back and support neighbors within our community.
